WORK HISTORY
1980-Present

Owner of Ellis Engineering. Duties include FCC filings, and designs for antennas, specialized equipment, control system, microwave systems, cellular systems, two-way systems, subcarrier systems, and emergency power systems. Extensive experience in maintenance on these systems.  Instructor for Electrical Engineering subjects at University of Southwestern Louisiana during 1978-1979.  Presented numerous seminars on radio communication systems for various governmental groups.

    From 2003 to 2005
       Vice President, Engineering for Access Spectrum, LLC, Bethesda, MD.  
 
    From 1980 to 1984 
       owned KJJB FM radio station in Eunice, LA.
 
    From 1983 to 1985 
        owned KFXY in Lafayette, LA
 
1974-1980

Owner of Broadcast Technical Services in Lafayette, LA. Duties included maintenance of various broadcast stations in Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas. Local clients included KTDY, KPEL, KSMB, KROF, KSIG and others. Trained and supervised a staff of five technicians located at the various stations.

    Chief Engineer for "Radio Windy", the first privately owned radio station in Wellington, New Zealand.
1972-1973
    Instructor for Mathematics and Physics at the high school and college level at St. Patrick's College in Wellington, New Zealand.
1970-1972
    Instructor for Mathematics and Physics at the high school and freshman college level at Nadi College, Nadi, Fiji Islands.

    Attended school and worked at WFSU-TV and as the Chief Radio Engineer at WFSU FM radio station at Florida State University. Duties included maintenance of radio and TV transmitters and responsibility for all equipment at WFSU FM.
